  • High Definition Video - Depending on resolution, video playback may require additional memory and advanced graphics hardware.
  • Media Center – Some Windows Media Center functionality may require a hardware TV tuner and/or additional hardware.
  • Windows Touch and Tablet PCs - Requires specific hardware.
  • HomeGroup - Requires a network and PCs running Windows 7.
  • DVD/CD authoring – Requires a compatible optical drive.
  • BitLocker - Requires Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 1.2.
  • BitLocker To Go - Requires a USB flash drive.

Conclusion

Windows 7 64-bit and 32-bit come bundled with a host of new features which make the user experience unlike anything we’ve seen with a Windows operating system previously. Windows 7 has many improvements over Windows Vista and utilizes the graphics hardware directly. All these improvements help reinforce its position as a winning operating system.
